Before I decided to take a look at the TWoP forum for Prison Break, I had no idea there were people out there who do not like Sara.

PEOPLE WHO HATE DR. SARA TANCREDI SHOULD BE VIGOROUSLY KICKED IN THE HEAD.

Also, I honestly don't know why anyone who dislikes Michael/Sara would even watch the show.

I don't like these people.

From everything I've heard, the TWoP forums are evil and unnecessary. People seem to hate most, if not all, of the characters (or at least, all of the ones I like), and they take the smallest thing and blow it into a big deal. Meh.

Then again, I stay away from forums in general for that reason. Too many unreasonable, unpleasant people ranting about things that I like. Fandom is occasionally an ugly thing.

I managed to have a reasonably sane experience in the Doctor Who forum during S1, so I deluded myself into thinking that TWoP had gotten less annoying.

WRONG.

A lot of it seems to come down to a thinly veiled "Michael can't be in love with Sara no matter what he says or does, because that means he isn't in love with MEEEEEEE!" *eyeroll*

Maybe some forums are better than others? Though the concept of Doctor Who fans being saner than anyone else is odd. I've seen just enough of that fandom to be frightened of it.

It surprised me, too. The DW fans on TWoP seemed to be mostly newcomers to the fandom, so outside of the hardcore batchippers it seemed surprisingly sane at the time.

I can't even think about the idea of Jacob and Farscape, after reading the acres of pretentious twaddle he excreted about Doctow Who. *shudder*

Everytime I go to TWoP's forums I come back sad and annoyed.

And they never like the main female character, so it's got nothing to do with Sara. It must be in some rulebook hidden on the site.

Except, knowing that place, not. Whenever I really enjoy a show, I do not go to a twop forum for it. Kills the chance for discussion, but helps my blood pressure.
