1) I set the Tivo set to record the Ecuador-Germany game because I have to leave the house at 10:20 for an appointment with my trainer. I hope I'll be able to set one of the gym's TVs to ESPN. (Yes, still in love with Michael Ballack. In case you couldn't tell.)

When we watched the Italy-USA game, H had turned it on without even asking me, so he's not entirely opposed to a bit of soccer now and then.

Today I put on ESPN at the gym and my trainer, who adores Beckham, agrees that Ballack is very nice-looking indeed. She's going to check out his website. The Ballack love is spreading!

Now off to take a shower and then watch the game even though I know how it ends.

Yes, I did. Multiple times!

I'm thinking that soccer isn't really so awful. It's just that it's so slooooooooow compared to my sport, hockey. On the other hand, anyone who can follow lightning-quick hockey plays will have no problem at all watching soccer teams setting things up.

I may watch more - even games that don't involve Germany, Italy, or the USA.

I've been reading the Msscribe thing, and OMG. So insane. Glad I never was in HP fandom.
