Johnstown, Pittsburgh / Anthrocon 2017, St Mary's, State College

So once again, I went to Pittsburgh for Anthrocon. I've been to every Anthrocon since the first one, so it's my 21st Anthrocon. This time though, I turned it into an 8-day vacation so I could make some side trips on the way there and on the way home.

First time over 7,000 right? Wild!

Attendance was 7,310 last year.

7,554 this year, so growth has slowed down a lot. It's starting to feel like the availability of hotel rooms is constraining growth.

Holy moly! That's quite a super impressive Anthrocon streak!

Thanks. It's remarkable because there were lots of things that happened over the years that could've ended the streak but didn't.
