Red Lion Road CITO, DE Furbowl 57, Deer Accident

Saturday morning, I joined Delaware (and some Pennsylvania and New Jersey) geocachers in the "Red Lion Road Adopt a Highway CITO XII". It's a geocaching event to clean up Route 71 near Lums Pond. Ah, sorry about the deer and your car. :/ That's hardly a pleasant experience for anyone involved.

The repairs are finally done. It was much worse for the deer, of course, but for me, it was one and a half wasted days dealing with insurance, auto body shop, and car rental.

They just finished the repair this afternoon. It's amazing how many pieces were dented or taken out by the deer and had to be replaced. It's like getting a new front end for the car. Good thing insurance paid for most of that.
