Quakertown and Lehigh Valley

This weekend was probably the peak of snow accumulation for the season. I went to the Quakertown and Saucon Valley area on Saturday and Lehigh Valley on Sunday, and the snow was pretty much knee-deep everywhere with some snow drifts up to waist deep. You are quite the adventurer, going out in that toe-freezing weather to scavenger hunt :D.. I hope there was a cozy fireplace waiting for you when you got back ^v^ !

I was probably not the only one either. I saw tracks in the snow on the way to some of the caches. Folks up that way got used to it.

I try not to spend too much time digging up snow unless I have a good idea where the cache is. There were some caches under snow that I just walked past because I didn't see any good hints on the cache page or in the logs.

Some cachers in North Jersey are even more so. I heard they snowshoed up a mountain to get a geocache in a small cave. The snow up that way was maybe hip deep.

Talking to the folks at the event though, this is the time of year when they head south to my area for less snow. But I go the opposite way because I'm just nuts. :)
