This weekend, I was in North Jersey for MEtroGAthering, my first Mega-Event cache. A Mega-Event is a geocaching event with more than 500 attendees. The main event was on Saturday but since there was another event, the "Pre-Metro Gathering Mega Meet and Greet" at the Brundage Park pavilion in Randolph, on Friday evening, I decided to go up on Friday

Great fun was had and per my stats page best day of geocacjing with 35 finds and the two lab caches.

Yes, it was definitely worth going out to. I wouldn't have done nearly as much had I just stayed in my home area.

Yeah, the activity keeps growing every year.

Oh, he would've gotten all those caches himself that day... well, except for the 3 puzzle caches that I solved just before the event and dragged him out to. :)
