Only had time for one geocache between errands this afternoon but it's an interesting one. It's in Fort Dupont State Park in Delaware City and it's under Route 9. Yes, I drove to the end of the state park and found a dirt road under the elevated part of the road. Not sure how much further it goes but you can drive on it for at least the half mile

What is Route 9 crossing over that it's elevated as such?

It is crossing over the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal. The road has to be high in case ships pass underneath, although I don't see too many watercraft in the canal these days.
