Just did one geocache this evening but I was curious about the location because it was rather isolated. I've observed that at least at Subway restaurants here and in the Netherlands, the chips can be picked up from a seperate rack near the counter, but they have the cookies inside the counter.

But then again, each Subway restaurant is franchisee owned and operated (at least it says so on the napkin) so your local franchisees may just be acting strange.

That Subway was at the mall food court so everything was behind the counter. The guy just acted like he didn't know chips were part of the Fresh Value Meal.
