Not sure I'm sold on summa them google apps yet either... the site ones are keen, but the locally stored invasive apps thus far haven't been too appealing for me..
I have to wonder if anyone can get anything right the first time....Not really. That's why there's now new HalfHeartedFirstTry.com. The whole idea is that the service providers are going to screw up your first attempt to do anything with them, anyway, so why invest very much of your own personal time? Now you can outsource that entire transaction to India, where your proxy will happily wait on the phone for you for 45 minutes, just to speak with a customer service representative, (who's of course also based in India), who will be poorly trained and not very motivated to actually get anything done. It's ok, though, because your own proxy will pretty much be in the exact same boat, and therefore, won't care very much about the whole affair. See? You can outsource all of your stress for only a few rupees, and get right past the whole first-try transaction, thus allowing you to quickly escalate to your second attempt, and demand the attention of a supervisor (who was just promoted from CSR a week ago, because their boss quit in a

Oh no! I nearly failed at finding my first geocache on Sunday. Was over on the edge of a soccer field down where they dumped a lot of trees that I guess they cleared for the field. But wandered around the area for about 25 mins. and just about to leave when I flipped over a couple of logs and there it was! Whew. Hehe. Starting to see how you don't get pin-point locations for the caches, more just general area and then it's a search on hands and knees almost. Still enjoying it though! Up to 4. ;)
Yeah, it's normal to have to look around a bit once you arrive at ground zero. You may have to do more of that in the Spring and Summer when there are leaves on the trees interfering with GPS reception. I've had trouble too in some densely-wooded areas.
Oh no! I have another question for you on this one that's confusing me if that's okay. ^.^ Was kinda a two-part find, first was to find a year something was built which I did, 1670, then some math involved and said to add the answer to the seconds of the coordinates. Though doing that is putting me way out of the park where the cache is supposed to be. If a coordinate is 3'41.04" and says to add 19 to the seconds...do they mean 4'00.04" or more 3'41.23"? I figured means a round 19 seconds but maybe mean .19? Hehe.
