That's another reason for using the YYYY-MM-DD notation. =)

Or at minimum writing out the month in letters. We need standards for this sorta thing, I have this sorta issue creep up often at work. :)

Perhaps the coupon reader was British/European and read it as 10th of July/07. Ergo: NO coupon for YOU!

That's what I was thinking.
I did have 2 other thoughts:
1) he was a time traveler, and forgot what time period he was in.
or
2) He was really dumb.
:)

As for the insurance. I met with my insurance agent when I moved into my house. I was amazed at the odd limitations on different types of objects, like the furs or artwork.
My electronics were above the standard so it was boosted, along with the art section, since my fursuits are custom. It's worth having the agent sit down and discuss what is and isn't covered.

I believe it was $6.95 for a plain 12" pizza plus $1.50 for the pepperoni topping.
