We played a lot of active games - e.g., duck duck goose, red rover - avoid tag at all costs, as it mainly turns into a free-for-all of running small people.
oh yeah. no tag. seriously, i've never seen kids fly face first into the tires SO much in my life. (we have chopped up bits of tires on our playground instead of woodchips or pebbles)
I don't know how much space you have in terms of classroom or playground, but the parachute is the best part of being in preschool. :) Also, kitchen clay handprints (i.e. the clay one makes out of flour and water and then mixes up and the kdis make handprints and let them dry and paint them) *just make sure if any of your kids are celiac or gluten intolerant that they don't eat the kitchen clay. :)
