Are you kidding? How on the bloody earth would a man misplace their wife? You ought ot be a better husband then, I'd say.

Does having a wife necessarily entail wielding complete control over the whereabouts of such an object? Why, how boring that would be. I'd rather entertain the losses from time to time than constantly know-- what, where and who with.

Don't be publically or privately
tiresome, Darling.

I'm right where you left me.

Feeling like being cheeky? You look beautiful, strewn across the carpet with drops of blood on your lips, as I punish you for your cheek.

Does that mean you are still in the basement? My, darling, how uncouth. Get up from there this instant.

Basement?

Your euphemisms never cease to amaze, darling.

Yes, the additional accoutrements I arranged for have arrived.

My blood, your blood - does it matter?

Oh don't I know.

Not a millisecond, of course. How nice, tending to my interests like the good little girl that you are.

And the safe-word?

Poof! She disappeared. Wouldn't you if you had to live with yourself?

Ah there we go - the endless witticisms. You ought to change your scrawling, Ethan, lest you like being identified by everyone.

On that note- hah-hah. Very funny.

It is what I do best, naturally.

I didn't realize that I was the popular sort, maybe I'll keep that in mind for later. Or not. Montague, I think you're getting paranoid.

With the likes of you - who wouldn't? Paranoia here is merely a defensive mechanism, my dear.

I saw you do that.
You look pale under the consumption of the night.
