I have some (maybe 5 or 6 issues all-told) old (70s) Eeries and/or Creepy and Vamperella issues around that are not in great shape but was wondering what to do with. Do you want them? I doubt they are worth anything, but man I must have read the stories in there a million times as a kid (and pored over the drawings of asses and boobies, of course). Anyway, shoot me a message with your mailing addy and they are yours free of charge. :)
That would rule! I'm not interested in "value" with stuff like this, it's all about the nostalgia. What e-mail address should I mail you at? I'm not sure I have your e-mail anywhere.
Totally off subject but I wanted you to know your contact Sophia from Michigan just sent my husband an email today asking if he was still seeking employment. He of course responded right away. Just wanted to thank you again. How is your job search going? Any leads?
Oh cool, good luck! Sophia is good people, I've known her since I was 10 years old.
My job search is slow and it's frustrating, but I've gone from getting no responses at all from prospective companies to at least getting callbacks, etc. (but still no real interviews) so maybe things are starting to turn. I sure hope so.
Yay! I used to collect the '70s/'80s reprints of EC horror, I think I may still have a crate full of them somewhere... During the Gory Details days we used to practice in Chula Vista at our drummer Heather's house, and she lived right around the corner from a comic book shop. Every Friday I'd stop by and pick up a few before prac. This post brought back some great memories!
