Even though most of the story is serious, the comic bits with Denmark's singing and Norway's thoughts and Austria's fairly awkward behavior is enough to get me laughing though I know it's dark humor.
Thank you so much for writing this~!

This was my either my first or second time writing Austria at all. I've come to enjoy writing him, because he can be incredibly tough when he wants to be, but there's a lot of coward there, too. Or at least, what Prussia would call coward. Prussia isn't nice about Austria, no matter the century. Anyway, I enjoy Austria's awkwardness.
Sorry, about the, er, tone of the piece. I'm a fairly dark person, even when I try to write happy things ^^;.

Austria is the type of person who tries to be really intimidating but is too prissy to actually succeed, and he is a more interesting character for that. Austria's awkwardness is most of his charm, really. And he tends to have a different way of going about things than Prussia, who disapproves. But really they're more similar than either of them would admit.
Hetalia wouldn't have much of a fandom if it wasn't at least partially dark! History has been very dark, and I admire your way of making it work with the characters and their many, many quirks. And the happy parts are worth it.
