I've got a bit of a tradition going so:

It's Turkey Day (aka Thanksgiving) here in the old US of A. So the first ten people to post a prompt will receive a fic of at least 250 words. Prompts are all spoken for.

All prompts should include a Thanksgiving food dish. (Pumpkin pie, turkey, mashed potatoes, etc.)

Two of you requested A Man's Fortune Timestamps, and you both mentioned turkey. So I actually joined your two fics together. This one is from Jared's POV, and the follow-up is from Jensen's

But Jensen hated heights, so Jared had to keep those nuisances that called themselves shepherds off of his mountain by himself. It was lonely, to be sure, but the small separations did seem to make Jensen happier. He was more apt to ride him in the bedroom if he was happy, and very unlikely to do it at all if he was put out with Jared’s behavior

In any case, snacking turkeys were far different from feasting turkeys. For one thing, humans didn’t eat feathers. Jared couldn’t say that he enjoyed the fluffy things either, but one didn’t take the time to pluck and roast one’s noontime snack

EEEE, this is adorable! I love how much Jared OBVIOUSLY doesn't understand Jensen very well. LOL!

I've got to wonder, why doesn't Jensen get sick from eating this turkey? I mean, generally humans remove the intestines/etc. before cooking, and yeah..... I can just imagine Jensen after this 'feast' vomiting his guts out while Jared feels guilty.

Basically because Jensen never takes more than the bite from the very outside, charred part of the turkey. While it still would have tasted horrible, the outside of it would have been heated to the right temperature to kill the bacteria andit would have been the farthest from the intestinal bacteria.

Of course, there is still the problem of Jared carrying it in his paws, but... maybe Jared was just very fastidious in keeping that claw clean?

as a subnote - considering that Jared wants a baby dragon, and that you already have a Daneel/Genevieve Dragon 'verse, you could easily combine them to give us baby dragons, and continue BOTH 'verses!

You know, I did think about that when I was writing the sequel, but then I decided against that path.

Although, the girls still might make a cameo.
