[BZZZZZT.
There is a birdlike shriek of pain and surprise, and feathers flash into the camera's view before cartwheeling away. Occasionally, a glimpse of a hawk silhouetted against the sky appears, in between nauseating spinning.]

...but just fine otherwise.>
[Thoughtspeech can't really convey how utterly bewildered he is at the moment.]

So a little girl will be somewhere near the edges of the park, looking kind of stunned, and kind of furious. And after a moment, pulling out her communicator, because she definitely heard some sounds from there as well~.]

[Tobias has indeed noticed movement at the edge of the park, and turns his sharp gaze to stare at it. A girl? And she had a communicator, too. On this entry. That was...slightly creepy.]
< Can you hear me?>

...
Furious surprise shifts into surprise into blinking confusion feigned, of course.]
Ah... yes?

[Tobias, of course, has no idea as to the nature of the person he's currently speaking with.]
< My name is Tobias, and yes, I'm the voice in your head right now. It's how I talk to people. I'm not reading your thoughts and you're not turning schizophrenic, and no this isn't a dream or a bad acid trip.>

WHAT THE FUCK VOICE IN HIS HEAD. Minato's never experienced this before, and probably jumps a good foot in the air when it happens. He doesn't immediately go for a weapon, even though he wants to, and stays his hand.
Likely not to be an enemy in this place. The only dangerous ones were ones that couldn't talk.]
... That would be the same question I have. I was looking for the hawk I saw on the screen earlier to make sure he or she was all right.
[He or she, not an it. Which means he's assuming that the hawk is sentient, at least.]

...actually, it was kind of funny. Had he possessed proper vocal chords, Tobias would have laughed. As it was, his thoughtspeech only buzzed with an approximation of a chuckle.]
< That would be me. I tend to think of myself as male, by the way. My name's Tobias, who are you?>
[Tobias flared his wings from the roof of a dilapidated building to show where he was. He was perched on the corner for now, to get a good view around.]
