How about this one? http://www.risingshadow.net/library?action=book&book_id=35982 (The Shining Girls. Also recently translated into Finnish if you'd prefer that.)

Also have you read any books from Simon Lelic? He is amazing.

Catherynne M. Valente's Deathless is breathtakingly brilliant. It is simply the best book I've read in a few years. :) I won't spoil any of it to you, but I think you might like it.

Also, Vanity And Vexation is pretty good. (Pride & Prejudice genderbend!)

And um, what else... new Finnish literature, Pasi Ilmari Jääskeläinen: Sielut kulkevat sateessa. It's more of the horror side. Also, the House of Leaves, which is just great horror book - it gave me shivers for a few months.

Haha, Pasi was my Finnish teacher in high school, it's always strange to read something he's written :D But thanks, I'll keep those in mind!

Miika Nousiainen - Maaninkavaara

Kai oot jo lukenut Audrey Niffeneggerin The Time Traveller's Wife? Kauneimpia rakkaustarinoita ikinä.

Muutama mitkä tuli nopeasti mieleen: Johanna Sinisalon Ennen päivänlaskua ei voi (Myös Sinisalon novellikokoelma Kädettömät kuninkaat oli ihan mukavaa luettavaa), Irvine Welshin Trainspotting, Haruki Murakamin Norwegian wood. Viime vuonna luin Yleisen kirjallisuuden tuntemus -kurssin lukupiirissä Boccaccion Decameronesta joitakin tarinoita, oli huomattavasti viihdyttävämpää luettavaa kuin ehkä olettaisi 1300-luvulla kirjoitetun kirjan olevan.

Psychological as in plot twist sort of thing or mental health?
I'd have to say though 'We Have Always Lived in the Castle' by Shirley Jackson is one of my recent favourites. A whole mix of things in that story.

Mental health, makes you think, plot twist - everything! But mostly I was referring to fiction to do with actual psychology, Silence of the Lambs-esque. Thanks!

The book I suggested is perfect for that :)
