Jaclyn wants to buy an Apple product! The Mayans were right - the world is ending!! = : O
jk ; )
One of my friends at work recently got an I-Pad. I drove her to Best Buy to pick it out and I too was bit by the "I want an I-Pad bug". I've so far been able to stave it off because I have an I-Phone and there are a lot of similarities. My next electronic purchase might be a Kindle though (one of the older models with the black and white, non-shiny screen). That's going to be awhile though as I'm trying to save money more in general.
My work has some per diem options too (only to pay for food though - either at conferences or when I'm traveling for research), so it's more limited.
Oh - and I met my boss' nephew and his wife who live in Elko, NV. He works for a mining company out there and he bet that your company has worked with his (he was describing a significant archaeological site near one of their mines). The world tis indeed small ; )
Haha, I know, right? I do own an iPod though, so it wouldn't be the first Apple thing I've owned ;) I was telling my dad about it and he immediately started ranting about how expensive they were and how there are other things that do the same thing for half the price, but my preliminary research suggests that isn't true :P Heh.
I don't think its my company actually, but one of my friends works for another archaeology firm (there are several here) that has been in Elko a lot! I bet its them :)
