Pardon me, I have to go put my cat in a bubble.
You guys. 2011's cruel march on pets continues! Since my last entry, THREE more pets have been struck with its evil, evil wrath. Seriously. WTF?!
In summary:
1) Friend's cat gets super sick, almost dies (she's okay now, though)
2) Another friend's dog eats something bad, has to get stomach pumped (also now okay).
3) Friend/co-worker's dog passes away from cancer.
4) My family has to put our family cat to sleep (kidney disease).
5) Another friend reports that her cat has a heart murmur :(
6) Friend's dad's dog died.
7) A co-worker comes back from vacation with the news that she had to put her diabetic dog to sleep while she was gone. :((
8) A former co-worker/mutual friend's dog has to be put to sleep due to cancer.
9) Yet another friend loses a furry buddy (dog).
10) My former neighbor has to put her 19 year old cat to sleep.
I can't....no words. I'm taking off the rest of the year and watching Spikey's every move.
