Wow, just wow. That explanation does make sense at least. Wish the doctor had spelled it out that clearly to you the first time, yargh.

What kind of ticked me off was that I told the assistant that the doctor was "unclear" and she took that to mean he must have been using BIG WORDS and I shouldn't be afraid to ask questions if I don't understand something! I'm not stupid--and I WOULD have asked questions had he not been trying to run from the room (she didn't give me a chance to explain that, however).

It makes me wonder if he even knew who I was...like maybe he thought I was some other young lady with a knee problem whose MRI didn't show anything, you know? Did he even look at my file before he came into the room? But it could be like Sam said--since its worker's comp, maybe they didn't want to plant ideas into my head. But this whole thing could have been avoided had the doctor actually been like, "The MRI was inconclusive, so we're going to try therapy and see how you do..." or SOMETHING. BLASHASJKHASJK.

Seriously. Having him say to you the first time that it's not a meniscus tear and not offering any alternate explanation, while his note says it could be a meniscus tear is just totally unacceptable - they're totally opposite responses. The patient-mix-up and worker's comp ideas could certainly explain the doctor's weirdness - no idea how many people he sees in a day with similar injuries. I'm glad the physical therapy place seems to be working out.

Sorry about the ongoing issues. I could tell you more about my health drama with gazillions of doctors and tests and opinions and insurance and so on. But it probably wouldn't help.

You're probably having a worse time of things than I am! I wish the medical field would get its shit together. :(
