1. File a general petition with the college of your major. That would be the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. The dean's office is located on the third floor of AH, and they have that paperwork.
2. YES! See an adviser in your intended area of study. Don't try to wing it on your own. I know I wouldn't have done so as a bio major, and it's relatively easy for us to plan things. Communications advising is (I believe) on the first floor of the Communications Building, though that may have changed since I was last in there.
3. Talk to the Registrar, whose office is on the first floor of E. Cullen, on the library side. They can tell you everything you want to know about transfer credits.
