I'm not sure how common solo music projects are. I know a few idol groups have branched out into acting. Daesung has been in a musical and I think Seungri has one coming up. Taeyang has another solo album coming out, GD has one that will be released this month, and then Daesung has one coming out this year too. Except for Taeyang, this is the first time any of them have released solo albums. I think they all have at least one solo song in Big Bang too.

haha i'm still having a hard time figuring out who is who in big bang. i still haven't even mastered the wondergirls yet... everytime i think i got it, i'm like "wait...you look like her, and she looks like you! who are you?!?!?!"
