On Sunday, Sept. 23, I'm going to turn 53. While that in itself is not exactly a cause for rejoicing, I am glad to be here, and to have life and love, and that's what a birthday celebration's really all about, right

I am torn. I'd like to go. However, the restaurant charges the same per person regardless of age, meaning it would currently be prohibitively expensive for my whole family to go.
