Yeah, those look a lot like women's pumps to me, too. And not even nice ones. Probably would make a good blackmail photo, though.

Mylène Farmer ??!!!! What a surprise to see her in a japanese magazine !!! The photo is from "Ainsi sois-je..." period.
For the other french singers, only one is still in activity : Patricia Kaas. She will sing for the "Eurovision" Contest in May.

Well, the old Fool's Mates (up to issue 100) were primarily devoted to European bands, so that's why. Thank you for the information about the other singers; Mylene is the only one I am familiar with.
