Yeah, I love Deanna, too, and you're right, she bears the brunt of a lot of shit from the writers. *sigh*
Phlox? We used to have a goat named Phlox at the dairy. Did you know that's apparently some kind of plant name? I've never seen "Enterprise", so I don't know, does that fit the character? Interesting.
Yeah, I thought it was really, really weird that they named him after a garden flower; after a while I got used to it, so now when we see phlox at the store it's weird again. But Dr. Phlox is a hoot. 8D
"Enterprise" is interesting. T'Pol is one very attractive alien. She rants right up there with Dr. Beverly Crusher on the mega-babe list. Deanna is okay provided you just want someone who is The Chick.
Season One takes a longer period of time to like. The first several episodes are extremely discouraging. Things changed after the fourth episode. I think that the network told them to get their act together or the Enterprise mission will be grounded.
This is a very interesting question. I've always said that I am the love child of Worf and Deanna. That is, I'm empathic enough to know what other people are feeling and it makes me want to get a bat'leth and smite them.
Now if I could choose? I'd want to be Jadzia Dax. Best character ever. :)
