Soo, it seems I've used up all my magical free time.  Oh how I miss it.  The next update to LitToS is almost done, but I'm now watching my large army of small children all day everyday.  And I'm tired.  And exhausted.  Also tired again.  As soon as I fix the whole dead brain problem and think thoughts other than "Wash your hands for snack!" and "We ( Read more... )

Hey, do you mind if I ask you how you knew you wanted to be a teacher? I ask because I'm trying to decide what I want to be and I'm having a hard time knowing what I want to do. I love kids but I'm not sure if I'd want to teach them. I'm interested in the medical field and I would consider being a pediatrician but I'm really more considering being a nurse anesthetist--it's just so hard to know...I mean, I've gone and shadowed and observed various people in the medical field and while it didn't necessarily repulse me, I can't tell if it's something I'd be able to handle...

so, as a college student, any words of advice you have to offer would be greatly appreciated :)

I hated going to the doctor as a kid even though we had a great pediatrician because that meant awful things like shots, but I loved my elementary school teachers, and that played into it too. Also, I volunteered in a hospital and worked with kids in a classroom setting while in college, and I found I much preferred the ( ... )
