FAB FIVE WEDDING. I don't know how it could have gotten better than that. It wasnt even made into a huge deal but it was them. Together. (last time if george rumors are true?) THE NOD between Alex and George because Izzie was "in love" with George like ... 5 months/6months ago Grey's time but it doesn't matter because Alex and Izzie are Alex and Izzie.

Then we hve MerDer and I cannot fathom the fact taht we haven't seen more of Derek kicks ass in knowing exactly who Meredith Grey skillz. Because fuck if that man knows his girl. LKFJSLKFJSDF.

I really don't know what else to say. I just. Show, oh Show. You leave me speechless.

FAB FIVE WEDDING!!!! And yeah, I love, love, love how it wasn't something they hammered over the head a lot. It was just the five of them. Coming together for Alex/Izzie, the one couple that actually has both halves in the fab five. And there's something special about that. Oh, and you are right. That could be the last time the fab five got together what with George likely leaving and Iz maybe dying. And while the end of the fab five would be sad, ohhh what a way to go. AND THE NOD. I appreciated that. Because it really was George letting go of Izzie and giving her to Alex. Although in my head it was more about how he used to be her BFF than about how they had that horrible "love" thing for a few months.

And yes. MerDer. AMAZINGGGGG. We need more of Derek showing of his Meredith Grey skillz. For serious. Because he knows her so fucking well it is crazy. Maybe we can put them on one of those newlywed gameshows because than I would die of a thousand LOLs.

Word to this entire freaking post. I was sure no one else in the world enjoyed the episode but me. So thank you for pointing out how incredible and amazing it was. Because it really, really was. There wasn't enough MerDer for the 100th, but what we got was so mature and adorable and completely made up for their lack of screen time. Really, to give away your wedding day...that's why MerDer are my OTP

Yeah, I thought it was a really good eppy. I mean, it's a little annoying that there was so little MerDer in the 100th episode love letter of all things. Especially since they promoted it all over the place as Mer and Der's wedding day. But that's pretty much what I've come to expect with this show, and MerDer giving away their wedding day was such a beautiful thing to do that it's kinda okay

Oh, definitely. Mer and Der giving away their wedding day was such a beautiful thing. Because even though it was supposed to be their day, it was the wedding of Izzie's dreams, and I love that they were just so graceful in realizing that and giving it to her. Not to mention the whole money issue because that looked to be a fairly expensive wedding, and Der just went ahead and paid for it for another couple. And yes, bring on the MerDer wedding that feels like MerDer. I'm very, very excited for that.

This season really has turned around. I was pretty disappointed early on when MerDer were getting 20 second bookend scenes and very little storyline, but this second half of the season has been great. They've grown into such a grown-up and in love couple and it's freaking beautiful.

And solo surgery Mer!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loved it.

Yes, yes, yes to everything you said. I read some comments on twitter before I watched the episode and MerDer fans were not amused about the end of the episode, so I thought I might not like it. But it was perfect, because giving the wedding to Alex and Izzie was such a nice thing to do. It never was their wedding to begin with. The MerDer moments were sparse, but perfect. And Alex and Meredith...best friendship ever! I so love those two together!

Yeah, a lot of MerDer fans did seem pretty disappointed, but I was very spoiled so I knew the couple getting married wouldn't be them. And knowing that ahead of time helped a lot. And yeah, that really wasn't their wedding. It's been Izzie's dream wedding from the start. And Izzie and Alex did more planning for it as a couple than MerDer ever did. Not to mention what a freaking beautiful gesture for my favorite ship to make to my second favorite ship. :D :D

And Mer/Alex. I can never get enough of these two and their friendship.

Being spoiled might have helped me to see it like that as well. Because I knew (or thought I knew) weeks ago that this weeding would not be Meredith and Derek, so I wasn't suprised at all. And I didn't mind their limited screentime because the scenes they had were so wonderful.
