Only thing that keeps me from just being over the moon is that I'm afraid it's a mistake or something because i'd think something like that would be kept under wraps as you pointed out...if it's thta...This is a very mean thing to do...Me ain't gonna be happy lol

Okay, thank goodness I'm not the only one that got whiplash when I read that today!!!! WHAT?!?! I'm highly skeptical right now as well. Could it have just been a slip that means that since Shonda has put them "together for good" that Der practically IS her financee but it's just not "official" yet? Then again, that's a very loaded word to use when talking about this couple and it's already sent those of us here into a tizzy so part of me wants to believe that it wasn't an accident. I just find it very very odd the way it was put out there. No big announcement, just kinda mentioned in passing...HELLO!!! FINANCEE..Meredith's financee...NOT something we just barely mention! Sorry, I went caps crazy for a second.

I don't even know what to think...It's very exciting to think about, but I just don't want to get my hopes up too high....Yet.

Isn't it insane?!?! I don't know what to think. Good point about the "together for good" thing. I hadn't thought of that, but maybe the author's misinterpreted that as engaged. Still, fiance isn't a word you can just throw around! Especially with Meredith and Derek. It's clearly making us all crazy! Not nice, TV Guide!

You know, I didn't even CONTEMPLATE excitement when I read that? That's how little faith I have in Shonda. I just automatically assumed that whoever wrote that little blurb was mistaken and moved on. Now seeing you all excited is getting me all excited. Drat you!

And so deliriously happy that Sadie is leaving! Hallelujah! Of course, there are more new people, that peds surgeon and probably like 5 more waiting around the corner. And the crossover. Pah. If I think too long about everything that pisses me off about what Shonda's done, my blood pressure goes up. Sigh. I think I need to go look at those Versace pics that someone linked to again. YOWZA. The man is gorgeous beyond belief.

Yeah, I am trying very hard to be cautiously excited. But then I think about engaged MerDer. And that leads to thinking about proposal MerDer. And wedding MerDer. Married MerDer. MerDer WITH BABIES. (Right around there is where I explode with glee.) I'm supposed to be studying right now, but there is too much flailing happening in my brain to fit in facts too!

Also, I'm so excited for Sadie to leave. I don't understand the endless revolving door of new characters. We have enough! Shonda can relax.
