Mark Twain was featured in not one, but two (count 'em, TWO!) Star Trek TNG episodes.

Though, seeing as they were time travel eps I'm not sure if that counts for or against him...

It was terribly hard for me, too, but I went with Tesla because overall he was a quirkier character. Also, HAUNTED BY PIGEONS.
