I *love* your Lestrade. And your John, and your Sherlock, and your Mycroft. All of your characterizations are so very dead right spot on in this, it's amazing. The menace is real, the pain is real, and I desperately want to know what comes next (although I'm also biting my nails and rather afraid).

"John always seemed to forget that Lestrade was just as intense as Sherlock, albeit in his own quieter, saner way. When you spoke to him, either alone or in a room filled with others, he focused on you as if you were the only person on the planet."

This is just brilliant. The whole thing is just brilliant, in a painful and tense kind of way.
