As You Now Are in Your Blood (The Professionals)

This wasn't the Lewis Collins tribute I'd originally planned -- that one is in progress -- but this happened anyway.

That was painful - but fitting. Both (all) of them courageous until the end.

Thank you, because it must have been emotionally quite difficult to write, as it was to read.

I'm so grateful that this seemed both fitting and moving to you, and that the heroism of all three of them came through.

Thank you for your very kind and encouraging response. It was terribly difficult to write, but I knew the only way the idea would stop haunting me is if I wrote it down.

Your icon is so beautiful!

Thanks again.

This is amazing and quite a tribute in its own way. As you know, I haven't seen the show, but this is still very vivid.

Oh, thank you! I'm thrilled this seemed vivid and properly tribute-like, and that it worked for you, even though you haven't seen the show. I appreciate your kind feedback so much!

My Pros knowledge is minimal, gained through flist osmosis, but I know enough for this; enough to appreciate the bravery and nobility of a beloved character in the face of tragic, heart-rending circumstance. No one does this better than you, m'dear xoxo

"Flist osmosis": what a brilliant term. Much of my cultural literacy was attained in just this manner. I'm going to remember (and shamelessly steal) this, if I may.

but I know enough for this; enough to appreciate the bravery and nobility of a beloved character in the face of tragic, heart-rending circumstance.

Oh, thank you, my friend. Writing this felt a bit like a (metaphorical) exorcism, and I'm so very relieved to hear the "big picture" ideas came through properly.

Your lovely comments have made my day. Thank you, truly! xoxo

This is heartbreaking, yet totally Bodie. Thank you so much for posting this.

Thank you for your generous words. I apologize for the heartbreak - our fandom has enough of that just now! - but I'm so grateful to hear that this characterization of Bodie struck the right note. I'm grateful for your kindness.
