This was absolutely brilliant and sublime at the same time. Thank You.

I want to say more b ut words are failing me. THis is amazing work. THen again I just have to consider the source... ;)

"Still right here," John said. "In the very same room with you. Need a nametag, do I?"

And this line made me LOL!

This was another one I LOL'd at that I could seriously hear Sherlock (and all his dripping sarcasm) delivering with devastating deliberation and accuracy...

"They eat each other's faeces, John. You must be so proud."

He couldn't think of a clever comeback to that.

;) I couldn't think of one either, LOL!!

You've left me a sobbing laughing blubbering happy mess. I think this is my favorite story of yours, and that's saying something. I can't tell you how much I love the meerkats, how brilliant it is to realize these men are like a meerkat family, always vigilant, always on alert to protect their family, even Mycroft.

I miss Meerkat Manor so much. This reminds me why I love them so.

I'll be back later with more, but I couldn't let this go without immediate comment.

*flails around a bit* I knew, of all people, you would understand where I got the inspiration for the meerkats-as-metaphor. *huge, sentimental hug*

I think this is my favorite story of yours, and that's saying something.

Oh, you are so kind! Seriously, this means the world to me. Writing this one, for some reason, felt like trying to carve my heart out with a spoon. I'm beside myself in relief, knowing that it worked for you, and that the idea of these men as a meerkat family made some kind of weird sense.

Thank you, my friend. I owe you... well, many. :)

I'm so glad you liked it! Thanks so much for reading and commenting. I really appreciate it.

I've been dying to use BC's "Rickman voice" in a story ever since I first heard his impersonation. I'm so glad this worked for you!

Thanks again for your kind words.
