Ugh.

First of all, I'd like to apologize if this isn't allowed, but I need some help.

Vimeo decided to, after nine videos, delete my account. Apparently, fanvids aren't allowed. Perhaps that's my fault for not looking into it further, or maybe they just decided. Regardless, I am now without a good place to upload videos. I have managed to get a few of ( Read more... )

The best answer to this question depends on how big your files are. The best option, IMO, would be box.net, which gives you 1 Gb of storage on a free account. You can create a folder and link directly to it, but you can't upload files larger than 50 Mb apiece, IIRC.

For larger video files I use sendspace and I've never had problems, but you can't create folders there, I don't think.

That's terrible news!

I'm not savvy enough to answer your question (unfortunately) but I do want to say that I'd recently discovered your videos on Vimeo and loved them all.

Good luck! I hope you're able to work something out.

It is. :/ Would've been better had they warned/deleted me before I invested all my faith into them.

Thank you~

Use Photobucket. I'm pretty sure it's unlimited, and it functions the same way sites like YouTube and Vimeo do, except they don't care about copyrights and such. I had several vids taken down on YouTube, moved them to Photobucket, and haven't had a problem since.

I may just do that. tbh, I never even thought of that. Thank you!

Apparently, they do care.

Upload failed for Criminal Minds - Someone Like You.wmv with error: This is to notify you that the content uploaded was recognized by Photobucket's copyright filter and as a consequence, has been blocked.

hi

I recommend 4shared. It's free, and after a registering you get 10gb free space. When you upload a video people can watch it and download it. And it comes with a nice file manager.
