Do you think there's a particular skill to being able to deal with Mondays?

Not, I suppose, that Mondays are necessarily any worse than other days (in fact I seem to remember seeing surveys in the past which say it's normally Tuesday that's the worst :-S)

My first thought on reading about a town officially twinned with Ankh-Morpork was 'I wanna move there!' too...

I have many, many red rubber bands. The postman is particularly fond of using my doorstep as a drop point.

I have plenty of the rubber bands, if you want some - my postie seems to have decided the way forward (for the whole ones at least, rather than the broken ones which just get dropped on the pavement) is to leave them on my packages when he shoves them through the letterbox...

Yes. But thinking about it later, I'm not sure that it wouldn't be a huge letdown in real life. I can't believe that anywhere on a modern housing estate is going to look like Lobbin Clout, frinstance.

Very true. I think Wincanton itself is quite pretty but a new housing estate is probably less so :-S
