You know what, I'm really not *g* Explaining some semblance to my parents is one thing, my boss and the clergy would be a whole other ball game!

It is incredibly shiny though and will be used very often at home *g*

I know, I can never believe the sheer joy of Yuletide and the storis and the great thing is there are over 2000 stories and all of them are shiny (even if some are incomprehensible to me!) I mean there's Hugh/Stephen/Emma out there!

And as my Christmas-Eve back-of-the-envelope calculation said that means that the last 8 hours or so Yuletiders were uploading about 1 story every minute...

Congrats on your yuletide haul! I had fun going through some of the stories. I haven't paid too much attention to yuletide before so I'm curious - how does one end up getting extra stories besides then designated one? Is it up to pure luck, or if someone likes your prompts?

A bit of both I guess. Everyone should get one story and then as the deadline approaches the prompts that have been defaulted on get sent out to a pinchitters list and then on about December 22nd/23rd all of the length rules get removed and all of the prompts are put on one enormous list and anyone can write a Yuletide Treat/Stocking Stuffer for any they're inspired by. The idea normally is that they start with people who might not be going to get a story but this year everyone went a bit crazy and there are hundreds of treats.

So luck that someone spotted my requests plus they must have been a bit inspiring *g*
