I joined f_c at about 6.30 when there were about 150 members. There are over 5000 now. My mind, he is boggled.

Presumeably we'll hit the top limit eventually, and of course it won't get even close to all fandomers but it's a fairly impressive number all the same!

Joined it at about 5000, although it wasn't long after your post. It's growing fast, there are nearly 9000 now.

I joined! I don't really know what any of this is about except it's about freedom of speech, I guess? I didn't notice a number though. And if CS is a fandom, then I should do it. Cos goodness, we have lots of schoolgirls there, don't we?! And Warriors for Innocence is a ridiculous name. Excuse ramble I have had a whole bottle of wine and need to sleeeeep...

Errrr, hello, I'm awake(ish) and sober now! What I meant to say was - I've never got into any fandoms other than CS because I just don't watch/read any of them - I've only just got round to reading Harry Potter because of a crossover that I didn't understand and I don't know who RPG and SPN and all these other things are :-( But as whoever it was said, I may not agree with what you say but I'll defend your right to say it (bad quote but near enough!)

There's no need to be in more than one fandom, lots of people are mon-fannish. Just because we don't tend to use the word in Chalet School cricles doesn't make the CS any less of a fandom though.

RPG = RolePlaying Game
SPN = Supernatural (the TV show rather than just in general)
