Ok. I'll do this properly because to be honest this afternoon/evening has been utterly full of brilliance.

First there was a parcel waiting when I got home with Jo to the Rescue (and Joey & Co in the Tirol but I'd read that already) and I love the Chalet School books but most of all at the moment I love the family books and Jo to the Rescue just ( Read more... )

Yes well I was reading the booshslashhaven a bit recently and it rather seems that they're quite happy to slash themselves.

When I have finally watched the whole of the recorded Secret Policemens Ball stuff I suspect my mostly quiet Mighty Boosh shipper will come out in force because they are just so very gay. And wonderful.

Once again I rely on my flist to tell me what I liked about HIGNFY, because I am INCAPABLE of remembering.

Fridays are generally awesome for TV right now, aren't they? So much loveliness :D

Ooh, 'Jo to the Rescue' is one of my favourite Chalet School books. The jokes the girls play on Jack and/or Jem and the friendship between the four of them and basically everything about the book is so great. Now I wish I had the books woth me here in Durham instead of at home.

Bugger! I missed QI completely last night - we watched HIGNFY (made my tummy hurt with laughing in one place, but I've forgotten what - the glove puppet thing, I think) and then turned over to the end of Simon Schama, who is always brilliant, only I fell asleep just before the end and didn't stir until Husband woke me up to send me to bed at about 1:30 am! And Jo Brand is my favourite person on there (apart from Stephen, of course), she's so clever and intelligent and funny.

Oh well, I expect it will be repeated.
