Well. I guess they're going to stop going on at me to go permanent now.

My afternoon off yesterday was because there was a big company update meeting and it turns out the department I work in are all being moved to Southampton. It's rather odd in the office today. I don't think most of them have really taken it in.

So far I have discovered 3 reactions. 1) pretending not to care at all 2) very upset at the likely break up of a quite friendly bunch of people and 3) anger and frustration (which is the guy next to me who can't sit still and keeps claiming everything we do now is pointless...)

Thankfully I have a hidden stash of chocolate in my drawer for such occasions (and am now very glad I'd decided to leave anyway)
