This week appears to be lasting approximately FOREVER and yet at-one-and-the-same-time moving so fast my feet aren't touching the ground. It is a less than awesome feeling. Still. waving not drowning right?

Here are some assorted links to awesome things:

Isn't Bourne's Dorian Gray bi? I'm fairly certain I remember him having relationships with men and women, but it wasn't a show I enjoyed particularly, so I might be misremembering.

I'm sad that I missed both this and Edward Scissorhands. I do love Bourne's choreography. Btw, did you know they've filmed this and it will be on sky on Monday?

Oh of course he is! I mean Wilde's Dorian Gray is too so doubly yes!

I did see that, I'm glad they're branching out with the things they're filming. Although maybe Bourne doesn't count as branching out as I know they showed Swan Lake pretty early on.

Ah, I haven't read it, so I wasn't sure if it came from the text or just Bourne himself.

Oh, Swan Lake <3333 I wish they showed more filmed-live theatre in general though. (not just Sky, as I don't have that any more!) I know there's all sorts of rights issues, but wouldn't it be nice if the NT Live shows had a life after the cinema? *sigh*

I hate people who take photos during a performance. As a performer, I find it distracting as well as rude (and usually not allowed, surely? - wish this was enforced!), and I'd have thought for dancers the distraction was potentially dangerous, or at least had the potential to mess up their performance completely.

If there had been a flash then absolutely, very dangerous for dancers! Sadly I think we were too much in the middle of a row for the stewards to notice :-(
