I've always loved the Little House books by Laura Ingalls Wilder even with all the controversy that surrounds them

Controversy? I am a massive LIW fan, and have not heard of this controversy (unless it's about the way she describes the Indian people?)

Yes it was the way she talks about Native Americans I meant. I've seen people querying other details too but that's the one that causes the most trouble (understandably)
