So 2013 in theatre terms was another VERY good year. I finally saw the last of Shakespeare's plays (from the First Folio) so that's a challenge very satisfactorily completed and I also managed a pretty good balance of plays and musicals.

So many things! I don't think I'll ever reach those heady heights again. :)

Boo to people cancelling on you! I'm going the evening of 12th July if you want to join me, although I've already got my ticket and I don't know if there'd be seats left in the same loge. :)

The Olivier year spoiled me and I haven't learned moderation again!

I'll have a look, I'm sort of considering trying to drag enough Londoners along to get a group rate but I'm not sure it'll work :-/ I HAVE to see it though!

I think I probably am too, not that Richard II isn't exciting but OH <3

That Richard II is life-ruiningly good. I spent about a week after seeing it worried that I would never be able to enjoy anything else ever again, because no matter what happened in my life, I would have to say "yes, but it's not David Tennant's Richard II." It is the PRODUCTION OF MY HEART.

Your comments about it have made me much more excited than I previously was- I mean I've been looking forward to it but in a fairly quiet way so yes :D

Ahhh you managed to get Coriolanus then? I want to see Gatiss in a non-mainstream role so badly it's not even funny!

Dear god I wish I had your theatre life. I've got to make do with Australian casts of musicals. *grumble*
