At least not having a favourite team anymore makes the transfer season less angsty than it used to be, although I will still be sad if some of the Brit boys at Sky ever end up split up.
OMG the lo-five moment was the cutest thing that happened in the entire Tour. Way to go Froome and babies Rodriguez! Well, cutest except the whole Froome-Porte bromance which was a thing of beauty and a joy forever.
I don't know what it was about this Tour, but I feel so hopeful for the future. (Dear French, STOP HONOURING RICHARD VIRENQUE, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?) Can't wait to see what happens to all those guys. Quintana was a revelation, especially. So good to see Colombia again!
It was ADORABLE maybe almost matched a bit by Daryl Impey's baby in yellow because SO TINY and yes, Froome & Porte who actually do appear to be friends and close and just lovely at each other most of the time. OH and I'm also quite in love with Davide Bramati and his reactions to OPQS wins but particularly when it was Trentin ♥
It was a wonderful Tour, a real mix of old and new and interesting stages and BEAUTIFUL scenery (whoever decided to have a TT across to Mont St Michel deserves a prize for starters) and it does leave me feeling very hopeful about the sport in general (even if Mum keeps announcing that she is very suspicious of Quintana but I think that's mostly because she hears Colombia & thinks drug cartels IDEK)

Thank you! I have a very similar opinion of Sky- not so fond of the team but many of the individual riders are rather lovely/wonderful.
I know! The littler races are all well and good but there's nothing quite like the Tour!
