So last night Mum, Dad & I went to see The Railway Children at Waterloo Station and we all had a brilliant time ♥ I really wasn't sure I wanted to see it but I'm so glad I did :D

We had supper at Ping Pong first, I'm getting quite brave at trying things ther e(though Mum & Dad both went for a set menu) and I had a really yummy Lemon & Lychee

When I saw it - over a year ago now - it was lovely, but I thought the actors were unnecessarily shouty - they were well-miked and didn't need to shout, but shout they did!

Oh dear :-/ I think there have been quite a few cast changes over the last year so maybe we had less shouty actors (or they've learned not to shout quite so much!)

Anyopne who doesn't well up at "Daddy, my Daddy" has a heart of stone and should spend some time in the harmony hut.

It was fabulous wasn't it. I loved it when I saw it last year with the two Mrs Rs and would happily go again. The train was awesome!

It's just so wonderful having an actual train in a play :D

It was wonderful (and yes, Daddy, my Daddy, gets me every time but was even more poignant last July, with my Daddy only gone a few months...)
I thought it was stopping in September last year, which is why I rushed to get us there before it ended, so I'm glad it was popular enough to carry on.

It did stop! They just brought it back for another season I guess because it was so popular and also because it won an Olivier Award- I'm very glad they did and I had a chance to see it!

It really was, it's nice to go to things that are just straightforwardly enjoyable and good sometimes :D
