I probably ought to keep Tour de France stuff that includes results behind a cut should I? It's hard sometimes though.

Joining you for TDF/Garmin Cervelo happy dancing! I love these guys! I'm glad we're rooting the same way this year. Even though Garmin is an "American" team, I'm not getting that "rah rah USA USA" feel that always made me less than enthusiastic about Lance's teams. (As if I needed another reason to not be a big Lance fan.)

Garmin are such a different team to Radioshack/Discovery/US Postal and whilst they're an American team with a lot of American riders they've got just enough others to balance.

Plus they're all 1) utterly insane 2) utterly adorable 3) MY BOYS <3

Did you see them all bowing down to worship Thor Hushovd at the team presentation?

Our TIVO cut out before the presentations. We added 1/2 an hour to our programming, which just got us to the finish and bit of the wrap up. Looks like we need some more.

I was so happy with the Garmin win! And that Sky and HTC were up there, too, of course. That's got most of my bases covered!

I can sense I'm going to have a Tour of GAH, though, because I am reeeeeeeeeally not a Cadel fan and it looks like I'll have to spend more time than I'd like looking at his face. And seeing as the alternative may be Contador...sigh. I may be ignoring the GC, is what I'm saying. BUT. There's so much else to look forward to! And I am LOVING Ned Boulting's book. There are a lot of moments of recognition and a lot of laughing and a lot of making heart shapes. Thoroughly recommended if you don't have it already.

Today was a good day, Bernie aside :D

Cadel has grown on me since he learned how to attack but I have to say I'm not really very attached to the GC battle this year,. Green, stage wins, maybe even KoM but if GC comes down to Andy v. Bert again I'll be so bored and whilst I don't mind Cadel winning it won't make me thrilled.
