It was an impulse buy in the Past Times sale but it is rather lovely when the mood is right!

Anything at the Young Vic (Vernon God Little is getting REALLY good reviews). I suspect the Mystery Plays at the Globe are going to be the best thing about their coming season but that is only a guess, Anne Boleyn is coming back there too and that was very good! Personally I'm really excited that the Propeller theatre company are coming to London and I'll try and see their Richard III. If you like Noel Coward at all then Blithe Spirit should be great looking at it's cast. Um... oh Flare Path I remember looking at but I can't remember why now *g ( ... )

I think they have, I never remember to think about the ENO till it's too late! I'm hoping to see Strictly Gershwin at the Royal Albert Hall.

Oh dear *hugs*

Yeah poor Sam and his gold short shorts. I did feel really sorry for him. I will say Mercedes singing Dr FranknFurter was brilliant. She really was amazing, I do love her voice.

Oh! and Becky's halloween costume XD
I did sort of enjoy Sue's pumpkin and the cameos!

Anyway you have to let us know what you think about next weeks:)

Sam worries me, he has so many self-image issues and yet mostly they're being used for comedy right now? I sort of hope they deal with that eventually IDK

Becky's costume was GENIUS and I'm glad Kurt said no to being FranknFurter.

I think with Sam, they're trying to show that boys have those issues as well and those conversations.

Yeah although Mike Change being him would have been fun too.

I worried about Sam too - although he looked a perfect Rocky. I thoroughly expect they will crop up again, although hopefully not in a Mercedes style 'Oo, body image issues - all gone' way. I am finding that Mr Shue has gone from being an appealing character to really rather creepy. Kurt (I love Kurt) made a perfect Riff-raff, Mercedes was fab (although the lyrics had been changed slightly, hadn't they? And for Touch-a-touch me). I thought Rachel and Finn made a great Brad and Janet too.

I loved the episode though, and have watched it three times... Possibly because I can't find my Rocky Horror CD.

We booked our Ann Boleyn tickets yesterday but it's a long time to wait until July!

It seems forever away doesn't it! I hope you enjoy Anne Boleyn, I decided I couldn't justify going again but I was VERY tempted!

It is rather gloriously sunny here. But I don't think you'd like it very much. The trade off for sun is a current temp of 0F/-17C. But that won't stop me from taking a nap in it this afternoon as it streams through my windows. *grin* It will probably stop me from going out however.

Hmmm... maybe not. Though our office isn't too bad when it's cold outside and it's so miserable looking out at grey and rain.

I am missing an interesting meeting this afternoon because I have TOO MANY MEETINGS - I've been in them for most of the day and I have a Future Jobs Fund placement person to find work for. He got through some data entry work far faster than I expected - I thought it would keep him busy until the middle of next week. I may start inventing jobs, sending him off to count things... Help - we are only two weeks in to a six month placement!

So far they've numbered some things, put about a million photographs into secol sleeves... written out some catalogue cards (that nobody will have enough time to put on MODEs) and shortly I'm going to get them sorting all the bubble wrap and acid free tissue into nice neat piles :-S Though to be fair right NOW they're doing a mini display inside a school desk so that's more interesting.

But it is REALLY difficult to think of things that you don't need to do yourself sometimes!

Especially when I know I could do the job in half an hour myself, but if I have to spend twenty minutes explaining, twenty minutes checking it, and however much time in the middle answering questions, it is so tempting just to avoid things...

As well as data entry has checked the first aid boxes and the fire extinguishers which needed doing! I am going to let him loose on the weekly checks soon...

I guess at least if he can do those then that's off your list for the rest of the 6 months!

This week I think most of my time has been managing volunteers rather than doing my own work :-S I mean they're great and we couldn't survive without them but it's exhausting sometimes.
