Being very tired and slightly uncertain as to exactly how to change a tire

Only slightly? I have less than no clue myself - in seventeen years of driving I've never needed to. Calling for help is the only sensible thing. *g*

I know the general outline but none of the spcifics (I have a horrible suspicion I'd have fallen at the first hurdle- being the little covers hiding the lugnuts- and certainly not coped with jacking the car up.

Help seemed simplest and least likely to end in further injury to the car, or me!

I called for assistance when I burst my tyre as well. Much quicker and safer! :)

I also read Mr Rosenblum's List but haven't quite been able to put my thoughts into words. I enjoyed it, but I don't think it's as good as it thinks it is, and I found the first half quite hard going, in that I didn't particularly want to pick it up again once I'd put it down. You do find yourself rooting for Jack and his golf course though. :)

Yeah, it probably is really.

I think it tried to be too many things at once maybe? I wanted a whole book of Mr Rosenblum's List really but you got a little bit of that and then the golf course stuff and I liked it all but... yeah I still don't know exactly what to say about it.
