I wonder what ever happened to Connie Faddis. I love her fan art, and she also wrote some of my favorite early hurt/comfort stories. I have the original of one of her gen works -- at least I believe it's an original; possibly it's a hand-colored print -- of Spock and McCoy holding an adorable baby with pointy ears.

Connie is still around (or was last year when we got her permission to include Interphase in the digital repository). She's not active in fandom. I think she may even have a FB account (although that's not how we contacted her - it was old school, by letter).

Met Connie Faddis at a con back in the 70'd in Baton Rouge. She was the nicest person, and took care of a little one so her mom could get in and see all the stars that were there. I still remember that as it was my first con. Love her art work and zines as well.
