Dear Due South veterans of the Ray Wars...you got nothing on the Beauty and the Beast Classic Wars.

Not even Blake's 7's wars (IMO worse than the Ray Wars) came close to the sheer craziness of the B&TB wars. One artist who drew a pic of Vincent as Bill the Cat actually was threatened by one particularly OTT fan.

(I'm wondering if the fan you mention above just kept her eyes closed or was actually blindfolded? :-/

It occurs to me I've weathered a whole lot of fannish wars...

Re the K/S Wars, if you're talking about the 1970s "does slash have the right to exist you're all going to burn in hell" wars, then I'd put that on he top of the list.
