What's new with me

Lee has been in basic training for almost three weeks now. Yes, he joined the army he is one of the bastard children of the artillery, but i can never remember the three mile long name. He is in basic at Fort Knox, KY. I go my first letters from him and I actually cried

what do you mean he's one of the "bastard children of Artillery"? If he was a redleg, he'd be out at Ft. Sill. ;)

on a serious note, what is his MOS?

he leaves for Fort Sill after basic. I really can't remember except it is like three miles long.

Fort Sill, OK (aka Lawton) is where i lived most of my life. my Step-dad was the PAO officer and my mother also grow up there..... She was just there visiting family this week.... i wish him luck and it's a nice base, or was when i lived there in the 80's.....
