I've got to do something...

Oct 16, 2010 22:53

Morgana had taken Morgause's instructions to practice very seriously, spending more and more time down in the gym, working on her powers. It felt like the only thing she had full and utter control over these days. And one of the few things that she could trust. She'd been a little sceptical at first, not understanding how whispered words could ( Read more... )

Nikola was in his lab, flicking through is documentation on the upcoming surgery with Owen when he realised that he had missed lunch again - and that his lady was nowhere to be seen.

He looked up with a frown, surveying the empty room. Nikola had become so accustomed to her constant presence that everything felt rather cold without her.

He decided to go looking for, slipping out of the room still in his lab coat. Nikola searched their rooms first but they were just as empty. The library next - hunting up and down the rows of books before he snuck into the dining room, finding it equally empty.

The last place that Nikola ended up was the gym, opening the door slowly and finding his lady there.

"I was beginning to wonder what you looked like," he said softly, closing the door.

As Morgana turned to him, her eyes were still aglow, the dummy flying over the floor and only stopping when it banged into the wall.

"Sorry," she said as the gold in her eyes faded. "I've been busy."

Nikola flinched slightly as the dummy hit the wall with a large crash. This as not like his lady at all...

"This I see," he replied, glancing around the gym. It was now somewhere that he frequented - almost as if it were a foreign land to him. She was training for a war, that much Nikola could see.

"Morgause has been teaching me some new things," she said, turning and floating the rather battered looking dummy back into its original position. "She said I needed to practice them."

Inuyasha hovers by the door of the gym, for all his confidence that they would win the war even he realises that a bit of practice would be a good idea before a battle. He considers leaving Morgana alone but is curious as to how someone who smells completely human could fling such a dummy without touching it and without the aid of Shikigami.

He slips in quietly a childish smirk as he walks as silently as demoniacally possible (for a dog demon anyway) behind her.

"Hi." He says when he gets to about 2 feet from her.

(OOC:hmm I remembered that pic as being more smirky. In any case his hair is currently silver and his dog ears showing atop his head, they're silver as well.)

It was not a particularly wise idea to sneak up on a sorceress when she was caught up in her powers. Without giving him a moment to explain, she turned, her telekinesis pinning him back against the nearest wall, eyes glowing bright gold.

"What are you doing here?" she demanded.

It was clear from his appearance that he was an abnormal, but beyond that...

Inuyasha coughs a bit, all right he probably should have seen that one coming. "I was going to train and got curious as to why you smell like a human and are throwing dummies around all over the place ( ... )

Morgana turned and glared. Her tolerance of new residents of late was not at its best and she didn't appreciate the interruption.

"You could have just asked me to pause," she reasoned.

Morgana sighed. It was times like these that she wished she and Nikola had a home of their own and a little more privacy.

"I am using these facilities at the moment," she said, keeping her voice coolly polite. "If you want them, I'm afraid you're going to have to come back."

Owen held up his hands as he wandered into the gym, shifting course to inch along the wall. He was heading for the punchbag in the corner, restless and frustrated with surgery just weeks away. And it would kind of suck to get his head knocked off by a flying dummy before he even made it to the operating theatre...

“All right, Miss Le Fay?” he asked, all polite - watching her warily.

Morgana glanced across at him. She hadn't had much to do with Owen, purposely keeping out of his way. She knew that he and Nikola had become friends of sorts though and that Nikola was helping him with his...predicament.

"Dr Harper," she said with a nod as she floated the dummy back in to its standing position.

He nodded back, binding his hands with wraps but leaving gloves off. He wanted to really feel the hits.

"That's impressive," he said quietly, indicating the dummy as it floated. He couldn't remember speaking to Morgana since he'd apologised to her months ago, having also kept out of her way, but Nikola still seemed absolutely devoted to her and he respected Nikola.

She nodded in something akin to thanks.

"I've been practising."

Out of necessity more than want.

She noted the way he bound his hands.

"Should you really be doing that in your current condition?"

John heard a thump and that stirred his curiousity and he slipped quietly into the gym. He watched as Morgana threw the dummy across the room again. He smiled slightly at the power.

"Very impressive, Miss Le Fay," he said dryly.

Morgana stiffened a little when she saw Druitt. He hadn't actually given her much reason to dislike him but Nikola seemed so very uncomfortable with his presence...

"I thought practise was prudent given our current situation."

"Practice is always useful," he said, his hand wipping out, a knife landing squarely in the area that would be the heart of the dummy, if it had a heart.

She jumped at that, momentarily wondering if she would have been quick enough to stop it had it been aimed at her.

"I hear you've been reintroducing yourself to old friends here..."
